Tara, a Strategy Consultant, works with exceptional children spanning the learning spectrum – from learning disabilities to gifted. For over 25 years she has worked together with parents devising coping strategies for her clients in both home and school environments. Tara holds a BA in both Child development and Psychology, a Masters Degree in Art Therapy and is a trained ABA therapist.
Through the years of working with various families and their children, it became apparent that the principles and coping strategies applied for children with learning disabilities proved quite successful for the gifted child. Social, emotional, and scholastic growth can be achieved when the right building blocks are put into place and at the right time.
